DTM reinforcements again for Schubert Motorsport at the ADAC GT Masters season finale

The final two races in the 2016 ADAC GT Masters season take place this weekend in Hockenheim (DE). This marks the end of the development season with the BMW M6 GT3 for Schubert Motorsport.

This weekend, the season goes full circle: Just as they did on the opening weekend in Oschersleben (DE), BMW Motorsport Juniors Jesse Krohn (FI) and BMW DTM driver Martin Tomczyk (DE) will share the number 20 car. The duo worked wonderfully together in April and scored points in both races.

The races at the Hockenheimring take place on Saturday at 13:15 and on Sunday at 13:08 (both live on Sport1).

Timo Frings (Team Manager): “For us, the races in Hockenheim mark the end of a very instructive season with some highs and lows. We had a few very difficult weekends, but things went better for us recently in Zandvoort. We knew that we would have to learn about the car in our debut season with the BMW M6 GT3, and that is how it was. We are delighted to welcome back Martin Tomczyk for the final races. He really adds something to the team, both from a sporting and from a personal perspective.
